eFinancePLUS – The Mechanics of the Budget Preparation Module – A 3-Hour Seminar

Description: The eFinancePLUS Budget Preparation module is the place where you can forecast potential expenses and revenues for the upcoming fiscal year based upon current fiscal year trends.  It offers a variety of usage functionality and analysis tools.  This 3-hour Internet seminar offers an in-depth look at the core functions that are available in the module and how they can be used during the budgeting process.  This seminar is appropriate for clients completing their first fiscal year cycle on eFinancePLUS software, clients with new staff and experienced users who want to get a better understanding of the module’s capabilities.  Attendees will learn about the life cycle of a fiscal year, how various processes executed in the Fund Accounting and Budget Preparation module interact with each other, learn trouble-shooting techniques and have an opportunity to interact with other eFinancePLUS users.

Description: The eFinancePLUS Personnel Budgeting module allows you to forecast potential employee salary and benefit costs and the impact they may have on your budgetary needs.  It interacts with Human Resources, Position Control (if purchased and implemented) and Budget Preparation module data and can be aided by the Salary Negotiations Scheduled Projections function.  This 3-hour seminar explores the core processes associated with the module.  Attendees will gain an understanding of the various Personnel Budgeting processes and how it interacts with other eFinancePLUS modules, learn trouble-shooting techniques and have an opportunity to interact with other eFinancePLUS users.

eFinancePLUS – All Software Versions – The Mechanics of the Affordable Care Act Hours Tracking Software – A 3-Hour Seminar

Description: In July of 2014, software for all versions of eFinancePLUS was developed to assist employers analyze employee working hour data as applied to the Affordable Care Act.  The software stores employee working hour records obtained from employee check history stored in eFinancePLUS or an outside data source related to the Affordable Care Act and generates reports that can be used to assist clients in determining if they are compliant with the Act’s current requirements.  This 3 hour seminar will examine the core features of the ACA Hours Tracking software, include software demonstrations and offer best practices suggestions.

Cognos Drill-through reporting

Description: If you wanted to advance you cognos skills and incorporate the use of drill-throughs into your reporting repertoire, this is the session for you. Drill throughs can be used for users in lists and graphs as well as in Workspace.  This is an introduction to drill-throughs and attendees will get copies of reports created and may need to make adjustments for use in your district.
