Infographic: Closing the Gap in STEM Education

Between 2014 and 2024, the number of STEM jobs will grow 17%, as compared with 12% for non-STEM jobs. But only 36% of all high school grads are ready to take a college-level science course. And while 74% of girls express interest in STEM courses, only 0.4% of high school girls select computer science when choosing a college major. Cengage created an infographic to show how schools can adopt the use of technology to appeal to their students in the classroom.
