Program highlights ISV Partners investing in enhanced integration in key areas of single sign on, data exchange, and seamless user experience
Rancho Cordova, CA – September 15, 2015 – PowerSchool Group LLC (“PowerSchool”), the leading provider of student information systems and services in K-12 education, has announced its new Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Partner Badging System to better inform users about the capabilities and level of integration between PowerSchool and ISV partner products. The PowerSchool ISV Partner Badging System recognizes three integration levels: single sign on, data exchange, and seamless user experience.
The Partner Badging System gives customers more information about which ISVs are investing in secure integration to enhance their PowerSchool SIS experience.
“To improve quality of education in schools and home we need technology and content solutions integrated seamlessly and contextually, providing the most relevant information and content that benefits teachers, students, parents and school administrators,” said Hardeep Gulati, CEO at PowerSchool. “We are opening our differentiated platform and multiple levels of partnering framework to not just K-12 technology solutions, but also to content and supplemental service partners to enable effective solutions to the largest K12 community of schools and students in the world.”
PowerSchool, along with its network of nearly 150 ISV partners, supports the largest ecosystem of this type in K12 education. The PowerSchool ISV program provides customers with unparalleled capabilities to implement integrated education technology products within the best, most comprehensive K-12 solution, thus improving efficiencies in school and classroom management.
“We are excited to evolve our ISV program to include a Partner Badging System that provides customers with essential information about the vendors in our ecosystem that have invested in integrating their products with PowerSchool. With ISV badges, customers have improved visibility to our partners that have invested to create integration between the applications and PowerSchool for the benefit of end users,” said Oliver Wreford, Vice President of Product and Marketing at PowerSchool.
ISV partners complete an integration verification process to become certified for one or more of the three available ISV partner badges. To become certified, ISV partners must complete testing integration, complete an online integration survey, and meet with a PowerSchool Solutions Engineer or Developer for final testing. Several ISV partners have already achieved certification within the first weeks of the program. These include Blackboard, Canvas by Instructure, Conference Gateway by SRC Solutions, Edge Document Solutions, InfoSnap, Intellimedia, K12Online, LunchTime Software, Naiku, SchoolMessenger, ParentSquare, Registration Gateway by SRC Solutions, On Demand by SRC Solutions, Revtrak, and TIENET. ISV Partner Badging System information is available on PowerSchool’s partner site at http://www.powerschool.com/partners. Customers can view a list of ISV partners that have received integration badges. PowerSchool’s ISV Partner program promotes the delivery of comprehensive solutions that support the everyday student data management requirements of a classroom, school, district or state.
ISV partners offer critical, efficient solutions that maximize PowerSchool’s support of teaching and learning with the use of API technology, allowing districts to access all of their data from one central location.
