PowerTeacher Pro Certification - hosted in New York

The two-day PowerTeacher Pro Certification Summit will cover the setup and use of the PowerTeacher Pro gradebook, plus tips for a successful rollout. Participants will walk through setting up grading preferences and practice copying those settings to schools in the district. Settings to be covered include: grade calculations, teacher categories, standards grades calculations, display preferences, and grade scales. As participants get familiar with PowerTeacher Pro, they will learn how to: navigate through the various components of the gradebook, create assignment categories, consider score type options, create and score assignments, copy assignments, work with traditional and standards final grades. Once they learn the basics, participants will practice using the gradebook data to analyze student performance by: exploring the Standards Progress page for a student and view traditional grades and standards progress for an entire class.
